Re: dpp twin vs. sw21 3sat ???

Well, I can tell you the CNX Mini will work fine.

Go to the Antenna Setup, and check the switch settings. Since you were vague on how he has the LNBs connected, I will leave you to experiment with the settings.

The CNX Mini has the ability to tell you which satellite you are seeing. Since he has a SW-21 in there, I cannot see how it is wired to the LNBs. (See, the perplexing thing is you say it is a 3SAT SW-21. Normally, SW-21 means 2 LNB inputs, 1 output, hence SW-21.

The SW-21 is triggered by turning the 22KHz setting to ON. Now maybe the LNB for 110W and 119W has a DiSEqC switch built into it.

So, try this...

119W
DiSEqC Port 1
22KHz Off

110W
DiSEqC Port 2
22KHz Off

61.5W
DiSEqC None
22KHz ON

You can tell when you get the settings right, as the satellite name appears at the bottom in the middle. This satellite name has to match the same satellite you are setting up. If you had described better the LNBs that your friend has, this would have been easier to explain. All you had to do was read what was on the switch, and on the LNBs, and also describe the LNBs better, like are they all seperate LNBs, or is one seperate, and one a Twin LNB, etc.

Good Luck !!
