New proxy program for iHub
I found this on another site. Thanks goes to raysmith for putting it together it works great. You need to have a program called "Tor" (see below) to run it but I've had it up for and hour so far with no freezing.
C/P from raysmith
I been working for the last two weeks on creating software bridge between ihub and Socks proxy (Tor) using C#, the application worked successfully with ihub and linkSys router, so I though to shared with the members in this site and get some feedback. The reason behind this application is to hid your ip and give the user some privacy when using ihub.
Requirement:
.Net FrameWork 3.5
Router (linksys, etc..)
windows platform.
steps:
1-in you receiver go to ipconfig and change the server ip to your pc ip address where BlackRock will be running, hit apply and shutdown you receiver.
2- in your pc, run your socks proxy (Tor) and take note of the ip address and port that Tor uses to listen for connection.
3-lunch BlackRock, in the first section enter the i*s server ip address and port (77.93.xx.xx: 1920).
4- in the second section enter your socks proxy "Tor" ip address and port, Tor usually runs on 127.0.0.1 and port 9050.
5- the last section is your pc ip address, and port 1920 (to match the i*s server). Hit start.
6- Turn on you receiver and go to 320.
if every thing setup correctly the chl will show up and all your traffic will be routed through BlackRock to Tor, you can see the activity of the traffic on Tor screen.
please send me back your feedback, this is version 1, and if members start using it I will add more features to it. Also BlackRock will work with any other brand of receivers that supports ipConfig.
enjoy
