SV1000 file works with Buzz plus, as long as you have loader 2.04.

Yeah, I read that. As long as you do the boot upgrade 2.04.ldr that was included in the S2010F Plus Oct9 bin file release, someone said they tried the latest Sonicview SV-1000 bin v0271P (NOT the SV-1000 PVR bin) and it worked perfect, and autorolled keys, too!

I also made the 2.04 boot upgrade a sticky in the files section, in case someone tried to use a bin later than the Oct9 S2010F Plus bin.

I guess my question is, why did they release 2 seperate S2010F Plus bin files after that boot upgrade, which made it 3 total bin releases including the Oct9 bin??

I was waiting to hear that from a second source, so have you tried this also??

Yet another Buzz S2010F Plus bin file was released. So, I read up on using a Sonicview SV-1000 bin for this receiver. Seems remote mapping is different, as the bin IS for a Sonicview. Also, users of the Sonicview have trouble getting into the key menu, probably through the usual shortcut. Anyway, I would recommend NOT using the Sonicview bin. It's NOT any big secret some FTA receivers are using the same identical boards, processors, memory, EEPROMS, etc. However, there are some subtle differences to major differences.

The big difference here seems to be the different remote control boards and the different infrared frequencies of the different buttons.

I would refrain from using these ideas and techniques unless you need another doorstop!

I am sure if that's all there was too it, these bins would have been renamed and released at the same time, but they were not.

Without getting real technical about the analyzing specific data on the construction of these similar receivers, simply, WHY take the chance?

I leave all of this up to the programmers and coders of the bin files !!
