Dongle help with 7000
I have the 7000 and dongle installed. Did a factory reset. Loaded the "Dongle New factory Captain7000P_Weather_v3.00_20080425" file. Have a green light on the dongle and get Scrambled or no service on the screen.

You have to setup your Satellite Antennas and scan for channels first.
Next thing, you have to type this in your browser and configure the dongle device in your router -> 192.168.1.1 Type it in just like you would a web address, like aaafta.com or just C/P the number into the address bar up there. This is how you access your router settings. You can also access your firewall settings there as well. You also will probably need the IP device numbers from the router to configure the dongle in the receiver. Good Luck !!

It appears on my network magic program as online. When I go to details it show as this:
Dongle Status: Online Manufacturer: Not Available Description: Network Drive Model: Not Available Model Number: Not Available IP Address: 192.000.10.000 (changed some numbers for this post) Subnet Mask: 255.000.000.0 (changed some numbers for this post) MAC Address: 00:CC:006:00:00 (changed some numbers for this post) Manufacturer URL: Not Available Manufacturer Phone: Not Available Shared Folders: 0 As I noted I get green on the dongle. I tried the "if your dongle is not working fix" posted here also to no result.
