Captian 7100 help needed.
Greeting to expert out there!
my captian 7100 shows boot all the time and its shows nothing on my tv set. i did tried to install latest file from here(with USB)....its still dont work.... is there any way i can fix the problem? by the way what is LOADER FILE? |

Use the Captain Loader v1.25 in the Captain 7000 Files Section to load the bin file again. You should have received a 9 pin serial cable to load files when your USB loading causes problems. If you did not receive this cable, it is called a Null Modem cable, and you should be able to get one at any Radio Shack or computer store.
Link To It Here: Captain 7000 Premium Serial Loader v1.25 Remember to always unzip files first before putting them on a USB drive stick. AND, be sure the file you downloaded on your PC is roughly the same size as the one on the server. (Windows and Servers display file sizes slightly different) If you still encounter problems loading the new bin file, try loading the factory file first.

thank you so much...i learned something new today!...and its working! but....i still dont have PPV and XXX (scrambled or no service) channel with new bin file! the rest is working |

I downloaded latest Bin file on Dec 10/2007 but still It shows Scramble or bad channels why what should I do with this any help please

what are you trying to watch BEv or DN and are you wanting PPVS and etc.......?
because those channels are down for DN

I'll tell you how to fix your captain 7100......scrap it...and save yourself the frustration. Poor support. Honestly most FTA recievers are getting new BIN files as we speak.....and Captain will be 2 or 3 days longer and by then BEV or DN will have already sent out another ECM...you will just get it working nicely and then crash...."WOW that was great...I got a whole 2 hours outta my Captain this time"........I find that the viewsat is easily the best supported FTA out there...
