Did anyone get that 12-25-07 bin to work for BEV? I'm still gettting nothing on my 7000 and 8000.....

Yeah I tried that file this morning... from what I understand the problem with previous bin was that there was a timer not properly coded. I am getting sound on some of the channels. I will check to see if it is properly a/ring a little later though.

YESSSS, it's OK on all channels, I had to enter the new keys manually, put autoroll on, doesn't work on HDMI but ok on AV1, you have to wait auround 10 minutes before it comes back on. It freezes and goes back to scrambled channels every 20 minutes, but comes back on by itself after 30 sec. I do not know if this was necessary but I also made an AutoScan.

I just attempted this but still not getting a picture or sound sd channels and no picture on hd channels.. i've tried it with the latest bin (both the standard and hdmi patch) using component and hdmi cables but no luck. maybe someone else could attempt this fix to verify?

i have the vs 9000hd and all of my channels are freezing but then coming back and i am running the 12 22 07 bin because that seems to be the latest one released for my reciever..any help to fix this problem would be appreciated. i had to change the keys manually last night to get anything but now it seems to be working with freezing...

there isnt a freeze fix released for that unit yet
so they maybe one released soon

Just tested my captain again - got a picture now on everything - only had it on for a few minutes so far.

load the newest bin for ur STB and you should be ok

Keys could be rolling at the moment for DN. You sometimes have to wait and see if it will come back up

BEV is up on Captain. BEV changed the autoroll algorithm, so to get BEV on Captain working, you need to manually enter keys.

They may not quite have their timer function totally perfected, so you may see some glitching and freezing on DN.

That's the way it works... you just have to wait a bit and it'll be back... anyway it's more than not running at all...

I gave up waiting for bev. I switched to dn and haven't had any problems. It seems coders are more apt to get the American channels up and running before the Canadian ones. I prefer bev but for now I'll make due with dn.

this captain is the worst investment i have made. bev is still not working. wanted to watch aus-ind cricket.

I will sell mine for cheap. I hope to get a few bucks for it on ebay. Will get a serious fta box after...and forget about the money lost. Tired of bins supposed to work that never work and inputing keys with no results..so much time lost..it's not a hubby anymore, just a waste of time. Playing with good old pansat was fun and it worked..this one does not work anymore and I have very limited hope.

I'm using BEV, so I'm getting picture and sound. The picture freezes now and then, but comes back pretty quickly.

So the new fix usually fixes these issues?

darone - when you change the roll off does it fix the freezing?

I have rollon and it works, but the video freezes now and then for 30 secs...

no this will not fix the freezing only a new bin will fix this
