cw-650s two dish settings

I have one dish pointing 119w and other pointing 110w with a
sw-21 to one receiver, But i can't get the channels of the two at the same time. The two sats are working great individualy but not together.
If i have to change the settings of the receiver, let me know what the settings should be.

Cw-650s

Re: cw-650s two dish settings

Have you matched up the port settings in the antenna settings to the same ports you assigned the sats to on the switch?

Re: cw-650s two dish settings

The 119 is on the port 1 and the 110 is on the port 2 of the sw-21. In the receiver is sw-21 dish 1 for 119 and sw-21 dish 2. I think thats all rigth but probably something else its not the correct setting.

Re: cw-650s two dish settings

if i use each dish with the coaxial directly to the receiver it work great.
If i use the one that have the 110w its work fine with its channels. And if i use the one that is pointing to the 119w work great too.
But if i place it together using the sw-21 the receiver dont want to get the channels of the two lnbs. If i do an auto scan of the 110 and then of the 119, only show the channels of one of the sats.

Don't use the switch 21.

Get yourself a 4X1 disecq and connect those cable to it.

Port 1: 119w
Port 2: 110w

The antenna setting in your receiver must match these port.

Good luck.

Re: cw-650s two dish settings

To use the SW-21 one setting is 22KHz OFF, so which one is working ??

The setting for the other satellite that is not working is then 22KHz ON.

All the other settings like LNB 1, SW-21 etc. are redundant, and are not necessary. Simply use 22KHz ON or OFF depending how you connected the LNBs to the switch. (With the exception of LNB Type: Normal and LNB Freq: 11250) Generally, they are wired so 22KHZ is OFF for Echo 7 119W and 22KHZ is ON for Echo 8,10 110W.

Be sure to turn receiver power OFF from the back if you are messing with the LNB wires.

The SW-21 works great on Captiveworks receivers.

Hope This Helps !!
