Re: Loading files via Serial port

Being a Captiveworks, you would use load via serial like a CW-600S or CW-600S Premium. Check those Help sections for written instructions.

The reason we are asking is because we are a small site and all expenses are out of pocket. In order to maintain and keep the site running it costs lots of money for server costs, maintenance, etc. It's more than one can be obligated to pay and we hope you can find it in your hearts to help support this site so we can continue to give you great support.

Re: Loading files via Serial port

Knowledge is power. To gain knowledge, one must be willing to do some reading. There is plenty of help/hoe to guide in the forum.
It is easier to load bin files with the USB flash drive (for new bin only). However, to flash the receiver with factory bin, the cable method must be used, otherwise the file will become corrupted. You will need:
1. The serial (null) cable which comes with your 700.
2. The newest and most current version of loader.
3. The factory bin file.

The loader and factory bin file can be downloaded from the CW file section.
Good luck!
