How To Clone Captiveworks CW-800S To Another CW800S With A USB Drive

First,
Put a USB thumb drive in the USB port of the 800 you want to clone.
Press USB menu.
Press (FAV) button to upload.
Select (YES) and press Ok.
Exit

Remove the thumb drive, and on it you will have a
Captive Works Data Base File
SDX File
32 KB

Now you have two options:

(Option one): To clone a CW-800S straight from the USB thumb drive.

Put the thumb drive in USB port of CW-800 to be cloned.
Press USB menu.
Highlight the Captive Works database file and press Ok.
Change to (YES) and press Ok.
When loaded press Exit.
Then Press Menu
Select System Settings, Ok
Select User Channel List, Ok.
Select Save, Ok.
Select Yes, Ok.
Enter your name,( ie. ME TO) then press the Red button on the remote marked Audio.
Press Exit until you get back to watching TV.

First Quirk I found is... On a New out of the box CW 800. You have to put the 1.93 bin file in first. Then enter the serial number properly. The serial number is located either on the Warranty card, or on a sticker on the bottom of the receiver.

Then you can do this cloning method, and you will not even have to hit F1 000 (3 zeros) to enable the patch.

(Option Two): You can send this file to a buddy

Stick your thumb drive in your computer, and attach the clone file to an email. Send it off to a buddy thats having a problem or a glitch. He can simply download that file, put it on a thumb drive and follow the same instructions above.

Maybe your buddy just wants "ALL" the channels you have without scanning...

Something to keep in mind, when doing any cloning to any receiver is, the other CW-800S may not be using the same antenna settings. For example, LNB Types, Switch settings, etc. That would be just a matter of going in and changing the Antenna Settings to what he had before doing this.

After installing new bins my receiver works, but still have some scrambled channels. Almost all movie channels are scrambled.
What should I do? Please help!

You have to enter to main menu, then select the channel option and pic the first one, you have to look an option that says sort by sid, and then change it to SID, the system will change the channels automaticlly.
I think i will works, is that i remember now.
