accessories menu lost facility and set up wizard not there anymore anybody have input on what happend all so r the keys in the files or do i input them my self usb seems more user friendly than serial cable is a loader in the files im new 2 this thanks 2 anyone

You have to load the right file for the Captiveworks CW-800S PVR, and be sure to unzip it first. You cannot load just any Captiveworks file. Also safely remove USB drives from computers so you do not corrupt data after putting a file on the USB stick. There is a little icon to do this in the tray (lower right portion of the task bar) when you insert a USB drive.

Also when you download a file from anywhere, be sure it is roughly the same size as the posted size. A server timeout can occur, and halt your download. Your new bin file size should be around 1 MB, roughly. We say roughly because servers and Windows see filesizes differently.

I have this very same box as well and I have lost some menus in the past. What I have done to bring them back is reload to BIN file. If it still does not come back. Try reloading the factory BIN go through you menus and then reload the latest BIN file. It has only happen to me twice since I have had it. In any event it has worked for me both times. I bought this unit in October.
