Downloading Factory & Fix CW800
I unzipped the Factory_CaptiveWorks V1[1]00_2007_08_24 zip and CW800SV2.07_2009_01_22 fullfile zip, with two different zip softwares but when I try to load them on the upgrade loader, I get the message: "This is not a software file".
Did I do something wrong in the unzipping process? Please help! |

Re: Downloading Factory & Fix CW800
When you download a file, the best thing to do is watch it count up to 99% on the top blue part of the dowload pane, and then it will hesitate for a second before completing. If you see that, you got a good download. If not click, and redownload again, and overwrite the old file.
We are downloading files from a server. Servers do timeout. When a server times out, your download is cut off. Simply check what you received in filesize on your PC against the posted filesize on our server. If your file is smaller, simply redownload the file and overwrite it. This is especially the tell tale sign you experienced a server timeout, when you cannot unzip the file or it comes up as corrupt. Also, your file you get should appear to be larger as Windows sees file size differently than UNIX servers. Since you used a different unzip program, you probably had a bad download. If one unzip software unzipped one file, it should have done both. Re-Download the problematic file. Delete the first downloaded file or overwrite it. Hope This Helps !!
