FTA Unhappy HELP?
I downloaded the wrong factory fix and now my box will not come on. What should I do? I understand that I didn't need it until after.

you will have to download the factory file for your unit and load that in. just load it as you normally load bins.

the factory file downloaded was for my unit. It was an older download that I had already used. If I turn the power off (in the back) and when I turn the same switch on and hold the power button it says boot, but the tv screen is black. it won't do any thing else. no menu nothing. and continues to say boot

PLEASE I NEED HELP

is any one out there

You will have to use the cable which came with your CW800 to download the latest fix to solve the problem.

You will have to put the unit in Boot mode to do so by holding the front power button while turning the unit ON from the back switch.

Check in the CW800 download section to find the Loader.Use the loader to download the latest fix to the receiver using the cable.

Just disconnect evrything which is connected to the receiver then bring it to the computer...connect the receiver to the wall socket,hook the cable to the receiver and the computer on Com 1.Put your receiver in Boot mode then open your loader and select the latest fix and click download....you will see some progress in your receiver LED....wait until you see END then turn your receiver OFF....Now you are done....connect it to TV and so on....

Make sure the Patch is enable by pressing F1 and 000 on your remote.

Also make sure the Autoroll is ON.

Then wait for picture to come in...

where do I turn on the Autoroll and when I searched all the channels I am still missing a few hundred.

Check in the OSD setting or something to find the option to turn the Autoroll to ON.

There is a way to improve the quality a little bit only with your remote but I forgot which button is that.....
