CS5K to CW800
Trying to switch from CS5000 to CW800.
Below is the setting that I used in CS5000, when I try to use the same (similar) setup, I am not getting any quality for 82 (but signal strength is more than 70%). For 118, its is missing some transponders but even after adding them and scanning it, it disappears from screen and shows 148W(which is the first choice in sat selection screen). If I upload the channel list from CS5k to CW800, will it work? Is there any format change that is required? CS5K Settings: 82W 118/119 91W LNB port1 Port2 port3 Power on on on Type Single Universal Single Freq 11250 9.750/10.6 11250 22Khz off Auto off Disecq 1.0 1.0/1.1 1.0 Legacy off off off What should the settings need to be for CW800? Thanks in advance. |

Re: CS5K to CW800
To transfer channel lists between receivers, it is best to use Channel Master.
Download it here: Update You would have better results to simply scan channels on your CW-800S. Just use the settings the same as on your Coolsat and scan channels. Hope This Helps !!

Re: CS5K to CW800
My experience with Coolsat is that Coolsat has a wide spectrum of parameters for antenna setup while the CW800 is somewhat limited, you may need to play around a bit to get it to work. Once it's working, you will like it. I think that there is a learning curve in the antenna setup which makes it tough. I struggled for 2 weeks to solve the missing 110W and weak signal problem.
