ok,it seems the fav's don't work with the epg.(old/new)
you make a fav,then click on a channel in the fav,then epg,only to find the "all"epg.this sucks right? making the 8 fav group useless?


there is a trick i discovered.

instructions:

BE SURE TO SORT BY SID FIRST(RECOMMENDED)
1)menu/channel manager/tv favorites.
here you will be able to make your favs list 8 of them!press the green button to rename the list ie tv/movie/porn etc.
here you can see left/right on remote and "ok" adds.very simple.

2) menu/channel manager/sort channels/favor/
now,the order you want your fav's in will depend on your next move.
push right button,until you see the last fav group you want in the epg.
never mind the warning sign!
continue this for each fav group.last to first!(only works for 4)
then exit out to epg,to see all your favs in order,then all other channels below in the epg.
press fav,select a fav to jump to if desired.
this is a receiver trick,not made to work like this but does.
