Important - Cloning Issues For Captiveworks CW-800S
For those who like to clone from one box to another, there is an important thing to know. There are 3 different versions of the Captiveworks CW-800S. The first generation does not have signal and quality bars in the L.E.D. The second generation has one blue and one red signal bars in the L.E.D. And, the third generation has the pale blue quality and signal bars same as the channel number.
They have different boot versions in them, and you can not clone a signal bar unit with the first generation STBs. The first generation has boot version 1.20 and the signal meter versions have boot version 1.21
Hope this saves someone some unwanted grief.
