Problem with CW800s

Okay having problems for all channels it keeps saying scrambled. I updated bin to 1.71. This is the settings

Sattalite Name: 23. Echostar 6, 8 (110W)
Transponder: 12239/h/200000/5/6
Lb Freq: 11250
Lnb Type: normal
22khz: off
diseqc #: LNB3 (LNB1 and LNB2 doesnt work, no signal, so im pretty sure its 3)
Legacy SW: off
Motorised System: None

Well this is the steps that we done.
1. We did factory defaults (reseted everything!)
2. We reseted the receiver
3. We updated to BIN 1.71 (Latest BIN)
4. Then we rebooted the receiver (as it said when it completed)
5. We did auto searching (echostar 6, 8)
6. We gotten the 300-500 channels thing.
7. We click on a channel, it says "Channel Scrambled."
8. We did get some channels working (they arent really channel its about Dish network :/)

So from there, we arent sure what to do. We are tryin to wait 15 minutes, but no single update on any of the channels.

Any support will be nice. I think its better if we receive support via *** or via ***.

Re: Problem with CW800s

Okay another update. I seem to get this thing to work. I waited for 20 minutes and it said new keys found or something and the channels seem to work. Only problem im missing a whole lot of channels, but I got the important channels the video on demand. Only problem now I dont have most of the channels like HBO, Club Jenna , and some other channels I had before this problem started happening.

Re: Problem with CW800s

Sorry, you didn't answer me right away in Private Messages, and I got distracted. You gave me all your settings, but never told me which dish you had. Now, this is why we have a forum. Relying on just one person will cause you to wait like this. My other members can help you, provided we get the right information on your problem. I simply will not give anyone instant support through AOL or MSN, sorry. This is why we went through the trouble of putting up a whole website complete with a forum. This medium is usually the best for help. You can also research your problems through using the powerful search feature that is built-into our site.

LNB1 and LNB3 are Echo 7 119W on a Dish 500 with a Dish Pro Twin LNB. Echo 8,10 is LNB2 and LNB4. If you do not have a Dish Pro Twin LNB on the dish, then you have a Legacy Twin LNB. Then that will need different settings. A Dish Pro LNB has Dish Pro on it, or big black DP letters on it. Or, it is a Legacy Twin LNB.

How is the receiver hooked up?
Just one cable from the back of the receiver to the LNB Is needed on any Twin LNB.

What dish / LNB type do you have?
Regular 18", Dish 500, describe LNBs. (LNBs are sometimes called the "eyes")

Was it installed by you or was it pre-installed?

Answer my questions, I am here to help.

Sounds like you definately have a settings problem to me. You may have scanned the wrong satellite. It is recommended you do a Factory Default, setup the satellites properly, and rescan channels. If this was working fine, then the Factory Default you did reset the Antenna Settings back to their defaults. Once we get them right, write them down somewhere and keep them in a safe place. I usually recommend placing them in the receiver manual.

The reason we are asking is because we are a small site and all expenses are out of pocket. In order to maintain and keep the site running it costs lots of money for server costs, maintenance, etc. It's more than one can be obligated to pay and we hope you can find it in your hearts to help support this site so we can continue to give you great support.

What kind of lnb are you using? Do you have a switch in your system like a SW21 or DisEqC 4x1 switch?

Re: Problem with CW800s

A Dish 500 do not have 3 LNBs, a Dish 1000.2 does. You probably have a DTV dish, and that's why you are experiencing problems. The LNBs on DTV dish are oddballs, and the switches they have do not work with FTA receivers. All you can hope to get that dish is one satellite, and it will have to be realigned. If you cannot, have someone read everything they can off of it, and we can positively tell you which dish you have.
