Re: scan for name of satellite which the stations function
Be sure you write the latest bin file first. Download it, unzip the file, then copy it to a USB drive. Insert USB drive into the receiver.
Then, do a Factory Default from the menu with the remote. All you need to do is run one cable out to the dish LNB from the back of the receiver. You do not generally need the DiSEqC switch you got with the receiver. If the LNB has 2 "eyes on it" use the below settings. If not, let us know what dish type you have, describe it as best you can. Try these settings... 91W - Nimiq 1 TP - 12224/H/20000/5/6 LNB Freq. - 11250 LNB Type - OCS-DP 22KHz - Off Diseqc Number - Port 1 (or LNB 1) Legacy SW - None Motorised System - None Quality - approx. XX% Strength - approx. XX% Hit the Red button to scan. Wait until it completes. Save. Setup the next one. 82W - Nimiq 2 TP - 12224/V/20000/5/6 LNB Freq. - 11250 LNB Type - OCS-DP 22KHz - Off Diseqc Number - Port 2 (or LNB 2) Legacy SW - None Motorised System - None Quality - approx. XX% Strength - approx. XX% Hit the Red button again to scan. Save. Exit. Hit F1 and 000 (3 zeros) on the remote. TV should say "Patch Enable" Wait for the keys to roll and enjoy!
