Im sure its been asked, but is there any word on CW coming out with a IKS,EKS,SKS ...what ever you want to call it?

There was a rumor about a SKS couple months ago but thats all it has been...just a rumor. Would be nice to see CW do something though.

Thanks buddyjh, Ya i seen the rumor about the Sks. Also seen some pics "it looked promising" but nothing ever came of it.

Im hoping CW is working on something, since the switch they have not released any information on any plans of a dongle solution or update on any fixes

Football season is right around the corner and im thinking of biting the bullet and taking the 59.99 a month deal with sunday ticket from direct tv.

$59.99 a month!!! Why not wait to see which IKS unit will have it!

Impatient, pre season games began this week....and my team is not a local team that airs on local channels. I was just hoping CW was in the works of releasing a dongle, so i dont have to buy a new box.

Also DTV rep told me there is no contract, and they will throw in superfan (all games in high def) for free.

Not saying a decision is made yet, just inquiring about the CW manufactures plan moving forward.

I am kind of in the same boat you are in except for me it is hockey. I will wait to see if Nfusion or Sonicview has the Centre Ice package and that will decide which unit I buy. I currently have a Sonicview Elite but I want it in HD. To get cable and then Centre Ice on top of that would cost more than buying a new receiver. I would just do the math, plus at some point you might just say screw and buy yourself a new receiver anyways, so if you are going to do, do it now and put the $59.99 a month towards the receiver.

I personally don't cry over sports teams not getting my money. When guys are making millions of dollars to play a game, I think it has gotten out of hand. I like the NHL better 20 years ago when the average player was making $250,000 a year, now it is around $2,500,000 and tickets have increased in price to match. I hope this recession brings down salaries and ticket prices!
