This is just a Copy and Paste, there was a file released which I will not post for now cause not too much info on it.
Just the information C/p 2009-08-21 v1.00 - First public release. rq-sssp-client is a multi-platform client that enables SSSP capable receivers (such as some CaptiveWorks models) to be used as a softcam or card sharing client. To work, it requires a standard null-modem cable connected from a SSSP capable receiver to a supported platform device. - The supported platforms are: - Windows PC, Linux PC (x86) - Dreambox (all models, PPC & MIPS) - Triple Dragon - DGStation Boxes (Relook, Mutant, CubeCafe) and - ST40 Boxes (Kathrein UFS 910/IPBOX 9000HD) - WRT54G Linux routers and compatibles (BCM947XX) - Can connect to softcam or card sharing servers. Only the Newcamd protocol is supported. - Support for multiple CaID's. When server url's for different providers are added, the client automatically traverses the list until it finds a suitable url for the request. - Review rq-sssp-client.conf for additional configuration options. - File descriptions: - rq-sssp-client-readme.txt - This file. - rq-sssp-client.ppc - Binary for PowerPC boxes (Dreambox DM500, DM600, DM7000, DM7020, Triple Dragon and DGStation boxes). - rq-sssp-client.mips - Binary for MIPS boxes (Dreambox DM800HD and DM8000HD). - rq-sssp-client.st40 - Binary for ST40 boxes (Kathrein UFS 910/IPBOX 9000HD). - rq-sssp-client.x86 - Binary for Linux i386 PC's. - rq-sssp-client.exe - Binary for Windows (WIN32). - rq-sssp-client.bcm947xx - Binary for WRT54G and compatible linux routers. - rq-sssp-client.conf - Configuration file. All versions. - Only CaptiveWorks receivers have been tested on this release. There are other SSSP capable receivers that may work. Try it and report your results. kudos to raton. End C/p C/p Step 1-- Edit the rq-sssp-client.conf with the info for your server. If connecting to a friend/family members server, then get the info from them. Step 2-- Connect your stb to your pc via the supplied null modem cable Step 3-- Turn autoroll off Step 4-- Start the rq-sssp-client.exe Step 5-- Enable patch by pressing f1 000 on your remote. tv will say "patch enabled" Step 6-- Press F1 555 and the tv will say "Cardshare ECM enabled" The next step will be to enjoy the programming offered with the server you're connected too. These are the steps to take if using a pc. If you are using something else for a server, like a dreambox, then the setup is a little different. End C/p I have no idea,I'm just waiting for more info about the Server.

Re: Some info for Captiveworks owner
So you only get what channels the person you are sharing with is getting? Is this correct and do you have to be hooked to the internet all the time. I love in the county without high speed.

Re: Some info for Captiveworks owner
25$ a month for a cardshare is a lot. Look around see if you can find a cheaper cardshare. I think for right now a pay cardshare is probably the easiest way to set this up. There could be free careshares out there but they would be hard to dig up. This stuff all goes back to DVB cards and DVB cards are not really that popular in forum FTA sites. The best way to find info on this stuff is to get into the IRC channels.
If you arent familiar with IRC get a program called mIRC (there's other good programs too) and try to learn how to use it. Then you need to find the IRC channels where all the DVB card users like to hang out and share info. I don't have any info on these channels right now but I know they exist.

Re: Some info for Captiveworks owner
I don't know where you got that information from, as Cw didn't even release those files. They came from raton_craquero a Dreambox coder, and he released these files for private use. He is not selling access to any cardshare servers.

Re: Some info for Captiveworks owner
I went to another site where all this is being discussed. I tried it and it works. You pay $25.00 through a paypal account and talk to the guy that started the thread on that site (dslhome). It is card sharing and it works really good. No locals but you get all premiums, ppv (vod), and most xxx for those who like that. Once you get in touch with them through msn messenger they are pretty up front and great with their instructions. It worked for me and I am watching tv right now. It took about 10 minutes online to get it set up with them.
