Help.... receiver is frozen
As it said my receiver is frozen it wont let me do anything. I cant turn it off ,change channles, nothing.I tried to turn it off from the back and it turned off but when i turned it back on after a 30 second rest and the box is stir anythingll frozen, cant even bring up epg

Let me bounce this one back to the top. I don't think this problem relates to the ECM. It appears that there is a dead box here. I am not familiar with Ultimate. Can anybody help out?

He has not replied back so we don't know.

hi i dont think its due to the emc because when it goes out in the past i could still view epg even earlier i could but all of a sudden it just froze

Does the receiver turn ON?

yes its stuck on a channle and i can only turn it off or on via rear mater power no message on screen

It seems the cw line of stbs has been hit again, Only 3 days after new bin. Cw stbs seem to be taking the brunt of the ecms lately. Will have to wait for a new file, I guess.

shouldnt i still be able to scroll through the epg or change chanlnes i cmean i cant do anything even after i turn it off via rear power

If it's stuck on a channel then it's better to wait for a new bin file.

Does your receiver recognize the USB when inserted?

Then load the latest Factory file using the cable which came with your receiver.

You need to put it Boot Mode when do so.

Turn the receiver OFF from the back.Now Press and hold the front power button and then turn the receiver to ON again from the back,this will put the receiver in Boot mode.

The factory file and the loader is in your receiver file section.
