New Conaxsat CNX Carbon HD Receiver - First Looks

New Conaxsat CNX Carbon HD Receiver - First Looks

Blind Scan had a good talk with the Conaxsat CNX crew and in the end everything is ready to move on as it is. The only thing that might change is the box the new Conaxsat CNX Carbon HD might come packaged in.

Conaxsat looks to be a serious contender in the HD market. The CNX Carbon receiver is Ethernet Ready. I would suspect an add-on DN HD 8psk adapter board should be available for this unit, but information is still very sketchy at this time. If any more information becomes available, I will certainly pass it along here.

Re: New Conaxsat CNX Carbon HD Receiver - First Looks

Last I heard, the Conaxsat CNX Carbon was on a production hold.

Pre-orders were being taken at distributors of CNX, but, that was like a couple of months ago. This was posted quite a while before that. Still waiting for some news. Conaxsat will probably start manufacturing these CNX Carbon receivers real soon, I would think. Of course, we are all waiting on some confirmation.
