ive tried everything on trying to get some channels but when i search only the echo 8 are the ones that show i dont get any of the echo 7 am i doing something wrong please help me

We need your dish type and LNB type to help you with settings.

The LNBs are called "the eyes". Check the LNB casing for printing, like Dish Pro or big black DP letters or on the inside for DPP or DPPlus. Or let us know if you are using two 18" dishes connect with a DiSEqC switch. Once we know what dish and LNB combination you are working with we can get you fixed up.

im using the tha dish 500 or dish pro and its a cnx mini if that helps

Load the latest patch from today if you have not yet already.

Do a Factory Default with the remote from that menu.

Settings to change.

Go to Channel Search
Echo 7 119W
Where it says 11250, change that to Dish Pro 1
DiSEqC: Port 1
To see quality, change TP to 12239
Go down to bottom and Scan All and Save when done

Echo 10,11 110W
Where it says 11250, change that to Dish Pro 1
DiSEqC: Port 2
You should see quality, TP on 12224
Go down to bottom and Scan All and Save when done

Exit out and wait on channel 200 for keys to roll.

Picture will come up.

Go into Menus and fix the User Settings below.
Then you will have to adjust your Time Zone, Summer Time is On.
You may also want to enter your local State and City in Renumber Locals.

This should take care of you...
