Old files
Been trying some old files from different eras. None seem to work.

Re: Old files
We have had so many new mapcalls since the end of october to present, older bins don't stand a chance. Some coders have been systematically looking at paterns of mapcalls used and have incorporated them into their bins because they are rotated once in a while. Now for instance, SV has really been taking notes on these and has outlasted the last 7 ecm's. All it will take is 1 call that is not in the mapcall table they are using now and all will go black on Sv and they will need a new fix. Now norw is another story. He codes for many many boxes and for him to incorporate all of the tables into each box he codes, well there just is not enough time in the day to do that. We are actually lucky eric got the source for the 4/5/6k CS boxes or else they would be doorstops. All of those series have been cloned and the market has quite a few CS clones is why the support was so bad for a while. Clone killer SW did not work on those models because the clones are quite good. In the past 2 weeks we have seen a key change , then things went to fixed key ( wide open free is why old bins worked as long as you had correct public keys) and now mapcalls are reintroduced in to the mix. Charlie has run out of curve balls to throw at us so they use the old change up as to inconvieinece us, but not put us out completely. During the last ECM only the cable type channels were affected and the locals stayed glitch free. They are tring to get the IKS/Dongle/nfusion type delivery methods to stop working and were successful but only temporary.
Hopefully as we saw between the N1 to N2 transition, charlie left the locals alone while the cable/pay chanels were affected. Maybe we will see this again during the transition to N3. All in all charlie has ben very good to the pirate and not leaving them completely in the dark during major changes. Locals would be better than nothing. |
