We are still waiting on a new file, in the meantime it was stated in a earlier thread that 203 was working.

I dont have file 203 i herd that 181 aon190 was working but i dont have them eather

I'm not sure any file is working but if you want look in the cs500 download section and you will see those files are there.

No older bin files will work in the current datastream due to a different mapcall. If DN changes the datastream, older files might begin working again. But, when older files begin working, this generally correlates to a new ECM coming in the datastream which will take out most receivers. So the news you found about the 181 and 190 bin files working was probably before the latest ECM. ECM stands for Electronic Counter Measure, and this is what we call datastream changes that DN uses to take down 3rd party code running on receivers.

Hello mrlinnell.My coolsat 5K is waiting too for a new bin but in the meanwhile im watching channel 196 Free and some previews on channel298,500,487,470,100 and others. Sat.97W , universal lnb,Lo freq.11.7/12.2 freq.10750, TP11898.Im watching some at least.You can try. Good luck.

Hello felixluis and ryobie. I would not hold my breath for support for the CS 5000.But those boxes are awesome for true fta. before it becomes a door stop take a look at the true fta section.It is more work but there is alot of free programming up there without ECM`s....

Do you know a way around having the 30 inch dish?

ryobie there is several birds that are true fta that can be acquired with a superdish.Check out the true fta section in detail.This can be done with very little spending.But some creativity will have to be done on youre part.I know how tight things are right now. Take a look at what tbird has done.Also staso has done a very fine job being creative in acquiring the birds he was looking for with minimum cash spent..And I don`t believe he is done yet..Have fun....
