FTA Question coolsat6000

how come my brothers pansat is always fixed in a few days to a week and im still waitin. are the codes harder to crack for coolsat? i just got my box last month and ive got to watch it for three days so far. please help with any codes that might be working even if they are freezing.

Unfortunatly, there is no word for coolsat 4000 to 7100. There has been no news from the coders as of lately.

There is rumors going around that they are being sued by DishNetwork causing the slow released or non-release of firmware for the older Coolsat models. I don't believe this even a little bit since the HD8000 and 8100 are still getting theirs. I suspect they are abandoning the older models because the production had stopped and the inventories were sold out. There is no more money to be made. I am very reluctant to buy anymore of their products when I am shopping for a new receiver in the future. Their support team/coder is not very good in fixing bugs and is always slow in releasing new bins.

thank you for the information about the coders ill never buy another coolsat anything.ill guess ill pull a bigfoot and see how many pieces it can be broken into.

I just bought a coolsat 6000 I think i made a poor choice. Does any one know anything good about coolsat? I should get it in the mail 5-12-09 I bought a dish 500 too. from what I'm reading I got a good dish and a poop box.

coolsat boxes are great when supported, i think we are just in a dry spell.
i solved my problem by getting a pansat as a backup mina are a cs7100 ans a pansat 4500
