New Coolsat 4000 5000 6000 Bin Files NORW 180 Released

A friendly reminder to all of you.

Since it has been sometime many of you wrote a bin file to these receivers, and you went on to other model receivers, the Coolsat 4000 Pro 5000 Platinum and 6000 Premium use a Straight Wired serial cable to program with. Many other models you might have switched to probably use Null Modem serial cables. Only the Coolsat 4000 Plus uses a Null Modem style.

hi.. thank u for posting it

i have a coolsat 5000 and i upload the new bin 180, but it's still not working.. it says no video/audio.. =( does someone know if i can fix this problem?? maybe the bin is alright, but i don't know what to do

You are not alone. My CS4000PRO is not working either with the new bin. I went as far as loading in the factory file and then reload 180, but nothing seems to work at this moment. 118.7 is also missing from the satellite list. Very disappointing indeed!

Which providers are you testing ??

I believe they might be DN only, I am not sure at this time. I will test an old receiver out tomorrow to see what actually works with these bin file releases. I have to step out tonight until tomorrow.

It sounds like you are not getting any signal from the lnb, it may be something as simple as you have the cable in the wrong place. As was stated earlier, its been a long time between files, maybe you dont remember that the cable from lnb goes to about the middle of the receiver. Most all other receiver hook up on the far left connection.
