Lost signal coosat 6000 Premium
lost signal...great three days ago... 94%...now no
signal at all, can't bring menu screen up...just total snow. Any suggestions? Did my receiver get zapped? |

No fix has been posted yet for Coolsats since yesterday's ecm. Just keep checking back until they are here. Sometimes it takes a while for the CS.

Wow, i wasent even aware that the CS 6000 boxes had a fix. The last i heard that cs 4000,5000,6000 were no longer supported?

The menu screen should not be dependent on fixes. I would start by turning power off, disconnecting the antenna, turning power back on and check the box itself. Don't forget to check the cables from the box to your TV. Hope this gets ya started again.

Sorry if I mislead you... I was referring to Coolsat files in general. There has not been a bin file released for the 6000 since March. There probably will not ever be a new file for that model. The only models still supported are 7100 , 8000 & 8100 I think. S.Bob |
