1. while on a channel

2. Enter 8282 with the remote.

3. A hidden menu will appear. (Select CAS)

4. Scroll Left or right until you see "Nagravision" highlight it and click "OK" Then find the correct screen to be on, by scrolling with the left or right arrows. Fore bell your looking for (0901) for Dish your looking for (0101). We will be in this example will be editing bell (0901)

5. Press the red(EDIT) button on the remote (note the first thing its going ask to edit is the 09 01 do not edit this just click the arrow downthe next edit area is the Idents again these do NOT need to be edited so again click the arrow down button.

6. Scroll down to the first line that needs to be edited and begin editing (example) 6F 43 49 AB D4 D1 A5 87. (For B3v, enter the B3V key) when you need to do a letter its the ("i" or info button) after you have changed to the correct letter you have to manually click the right arrow button to move to the next digit, but if you enter a number it automaticlly will move to the next digit.

7. scroll to the next line and enter (example)8F C0 73 F0 B5 72 CB CD. (Or the second B3V key) You should only have to add the current key, the next key should update itself and autoroll unless we get a ECM.

8. when finshed press exit and it will ask you if you wish to save the changes and "yes" to this.

9. At this point you can watch TV, do not be alarmed if the screen is still black it can take upwards to 2 minutes for the keys to kick in. if after 2 minutes it still doesn't work try changing channels and again wait on another channel. If still nothing you have entered a wrong digit or used a outdated key. Please verify keys are the latest.

10. on thier you will see :

Bell ExpressVu (0901) [Last update: Mon. Sep 1, 9:56 AM CDT]

86: 6F 43 49 AB D4 D1 A5 87 8F C0 73 F0 B5 72 CB CD
96: 3D C6 44 99 07 F3 3C E0 54 C2 1B 2C D8 7C C3 77 New

11. this should work for the most part to get the Diamond 9000HD receiver working... Hope this helps you all... Chrome69

Will the manual entering codes fix patch problem? I thought there is more to it, that's why everybody instead of manually entering the codes where waiting for fixes. Something with changing timer in the string. If the codes will fix the problem that's very good news. Thanks

When I go to manually enter the keys, what ident numbers do I put in front of each row. I have four rows and when enter the 0901 at the top for b3v the idents all turn to 00. A little help would be much appressiated. thanx

Ignore the first 2 numbers on your key entry lines. 00,01 or whatever they say will be the first line in the keys. You need 4 lines of key entry points to enter the 2 lines of keys from the new keys thread.

P.S. there was an ecm since this post and this method might not work now.
