Dish Point Utility
Handy little tool for aiming dishes at the main satellites.
Just enter your zip code, it will give you the numbers. Select Dish 500 for the numbers for Dish 1000s, they will get your skew (back of dish adjustment) close, but you can tweak that from there. As a general rule go a little more, say a skew of 110 for a Dish 500, try it at 113 for Dish 1000s. Dish 1000s have skews from 1 to 5 differences on the plus side. Make sure your mast pole is plumb when using these numbers! (Level side to side, and front to back) |
