Finding 119 with CW700S

Are the following settings correct if you are trying to locate the signal for 119 DN satellite using a CW700S?

Sat Name: Echostar 7(119W)
TP: 12370/V/20000/5/6
LNB Freq: 11250
LNB Type: Normal
22KHz: Auto
Diseqc Number: None
Legacy SW: Off

The direction of where to point the dish is not a problem (used a locator and have the correct Az and Elevation), but no signal. Assuming it's a setting issue. Is there some other setting adjustment needed on the reciever to find the signal?

Dish had been pointing to Bev and everything was fine.

Re: Finding 119 with CW700S

You can try tp 12239, the lnb type depends on what dish and lnb you actually have, same might apply to the Diseqc Number.

Re: Finding 119 with CW700S

It's a Bev dish, I have no idea what kind of LNB it is, don't even know how to check. I know it isn't dual or anything fancy but I don't know the terminology... We tried the 12239 for an hour, then I read in another section that 12370 would work. We haven't tried that yet (it's cold out ), I wanted to post here first to see if it was just something simple I'm overlooking...

Thanks.

Re: Finding 119 with CW700S

Odds are you have the right settings then. The tp freq your using I believe is another good one to use, woodcreeker would no for sure. Try turning the 22KHz to off. If you had bev you would need to turn the dish to the right a few inches if your standing behind it, and say from 40 to 38 or so on elevation.

Re: Finding 119 with CW700S

Well, the drizzling rain probably isn't helping right now either. May try again in the morning... sigh... Briefly picked up 110 but moved the dish before hubby informed me of the beeping! Grrr... now I can't find it either to use as a reference.

Re: Finding 119 with CW700S

OK, hope you're still there... We found 110. What sort of move do we make to go from 110 to 119? It is 119 I need I think, I was told I couldn't get 110 channels, not sure why...
