Re: Hispasat problem

Your settings say, disqc port 4 , then you have a switch, check it to see if it is bad. No Q means signal does not arrive to lnb because dish have move , or signal does not pass the switch. or settings wrong,

Re: Hispasat problem

To see Quality on some satellites you need to change the TP number.

Change the TP to 11884 like DJ COOKIE said above to see Quality on Hispasat.

Just like to see Quality on 119W you need to change the TP to 12239.

You can only temporarily change these TP settings to see signal, you cannot save them. Do not let this frustrate you, and you know from this that you have your dish aimed properly. Once you have the settings right, simply Exit, Save and go blind scan the Hispasat satellite.

Hello everyone.
I'm writing because at this present moment I am attempting to install another dish so that I may recieve signal from Hispasat 30W. Are there any suggestion as to the type of dish that I may get away with. At the present time im trying to use an old DTV sat with a singal lnb.
ELevation :25.2
Az: 124.1 true, 137.3 using compass
Skew: -38.9
Diseq: 3
What would be the proper TP. Hey and thanks again for the hookup on my 1000.
