SatBeams EIRP MAPS vs DISH SIZE

C&P

Here is probably the best resource that I have found to identify how large of a dish is required for any satellite. I made up a chart for easiest access, but you may go directly to SatBeams.com and use it as an anonyomous user or you may register as a member to access some additional perks.

The SatBeam site generally overstates the Ku band dish size required. I believe they do this as a CYA measure. If you go by their recommendations you won't be wrong, but you might save a little money if you cut the dish size down a bit. So if they recommend 100 cm, you should generally be able to get by with a 90 cm dish.

Hope you enjoy!
