Need Help with dish pointing
Hello

I have Captive Works cw-600s and this is what I got from dish pointer

Satellite: 91.0W Galaxy 17 | Nimiq 1, 2
Elevation: 41.4°
Azimuth (true): 184.3°
Azimuth (magn.): 187.4°

I am trying to get channels and I updated the receiver with 2.30 bin file. What I did was I connected the receiver with my computer and started downloading this new bin file. Then when I connected my receiver with the tv I got scrambled channel. PLEASE HELP ME

that sat is bev, fully n3. try 110w or 119w that is what the bin is for is dn. hope this helps..............

You will not get anything on those sats. Bev (nimiq) is using Nagra3 encryption..Try pointing at sats 110w Echo 8.10 and 119w Echo 7..Hope this helps..

I have Dish 500 and other dish which has 1 LNB. They are both connected to each other with the splitter. And I am currently with Dish Network.

If your currentlly a customer of D*sh why dont you just run another wire from the dish to your stb(600) and youll get the 2 sats

I did that but I am getting scrambled channels. Someone told me to move the dish to 119 degree.

sorry took so long Im hooking a superdish on the roof here , did you try that F1 000 to enable the patch? and also did you use the new software that came out yesterday ? Also what are your settings in the installation screen? you should have them like this

On your remote, did you push "F1" then 000 ? If not do that next it should say patch enabled, if it doesnt do it again and enable it
