so, i'm trying to hit 119, and 110... based on what i've read/been told, first focus on hitting 119, and the 110 will fall into place.

my problems are as follows... first off, my strength stays at 1%.... if i scroll through the list of transponders, there are perhaps 2 or 3 that will jump the strenghth up to 25-45%. But transponder 12268 (what i was told to use for 119) gives me a strength of 1%.

second problem. i've been fine tuning the azimuth with a compass for hours (based on the azimuth given to me from dishpointer.com) and i haven't been able to get the quality above 0% once. help? please ?

The settings that they gave you look good. I reread your post and you say S is 1% or Q is 1%. S is the connection to the lnb and Q is signal strength. You might need to change the lnb type in your antenna settings.

btw 110 just dont fall into place..you need to first align dish for 119 on port 1 of diseq and then skew the dish to find 110 on port 2...

yeah... my mast is dead level.

and it's my strength that is at 1% but then when i switch to a different transponder it'll jump to like 25-45%... which i thought was strange cuz i thought that was just the signal between lnb and reciever.... why should that change with a different transponder selected?

i'll worry about 110 later :P

use these settings..do u have dp lnbs if so make sure that lnb type is set to ocs-dp or soemthing similar..
