Did echo star 7 change names
I am locked onto echo 8,absolutely no signal on 7,thought it was close,was the name changed,got strong signal on Dir-tv-5/ku
any advice will be well appreciated................thanks |

To find Echo 7, 119W you have to change the TP number to TP [2] 12239 V 20.000
Where you find Echo 8 110W, to find Echo 7 119W from there, tip the dish about 3 or 4 elevation points down and move it to the west a little ways. (9 degrees) The trick here is everytime you want to check for signal on 119W, you HAVE to changethe TP Number up one to 12239 with the right arrow on the remote. If I knew exactly which dish you have, I could help you out better.

It sounds to me like you are having trouble with your antenna settings These need to be correct before setting your dish
try to anwser as much of this info you have and your problem can get narrowed down quickly Which receiver is this question for? -------------------- Which bin does it have---------------------- Which antenna do you have (Size)--------------------- Which LNB(s) are in your antenna---------------- Which satellites are you pointing------------ Which Switch do you have SW, Diseqc, etc-------------- Show us your box configuration settings in the menu (Dish Settings) Satellite 119 LNB Power........................ LNB Type........................... LNB Freq........................... 22KHz............................... Diseqc Switch................... Committed....................... Legacy SW....................... Satellite 110 LNB Power....................... LNB Type......................... LNB Freq.......................... 22KHz.............................. A similar thing happened to me on VS 9000. Not all the channels are visible, specially E*3 has blacked out.. I haven't scanned all the TPs, do you think the TPs have changed or the channels on the TPs are rearranged
