lnb mounting

will this lnb mount fit this dish?

and is it posable for me to point this setup and get 110,119,91,82 and 101?
If I get 5 of the lnb on the dish in the picture Put it all together will it work?
Also I have 2 of these

Is there a way to hook both of them together for 5 to 1?

Re: lnb mounting

101 is pretty much useless. You would need a minimal of 22" elliptical dish for that holder.

Re: lnb mounting

I have a sv360e with an ihub and a dish500 dish pro pluss lnb pointed at 110 and 119.

Thers a dish 300 with a single lnb on my house from years ago when I subscribed to dn. I cut the wire a long time ago but left the dish.
I'm thinking of climbing up and reattaching a wire to it.

What bird do you sugest I point it at? Any idea what it might be pointed at now?

Re: lnb mounting

Out of the 5 sats you talked about 101 is usless, you already are pointing at 110 and 119, 82 is a HD sat and your receiver isn't, so that leaves you 1 left 91. I have no idea what sat the other dish is pointed at.

Since you are in Oregon it is likely not pointing at 91 as it is a Canadian bird and is the main bird for BEV. But it is worth getting but not with the IHUB as it isn't currently working with BEV. The Nfusion and KBox are working with BEV.

Re: lnb mounting

yes that bracket will fit on the arm of the d500 but the dish is way to small for the potential of that bracket.I would recommend a superdish for that bracket. Also there is a couple things to think about when it comes to 101w with this setup.Perhaps you may want a dave sub,I dunno, but that will work if so.Another option is a linear lnb for that spot to pick up History and Biography.this can work with a superdish..

Re: lnb mounting

I wanted to get out on the roof today and point the dish300 at something but it's wet and cold.
I'm feeling a bit lazy.
I am going to look for a cheap set up I can use to look for fta birds. Seems like anyhitng over 33 inches is the cost of an nfusion box.
Any ideas as to a econimical dish set up that I can play with tru fta?

Yes, there are 2 dish choices for the tfta setup you are willing to try. The 1st generation kaku dish from dave or a superdish. You can use the linear lnb off of the superdish to hunt the linear side of sat hunting. Good luck & have fun.
