I want to buy a new fta receiver. With fast bin file updates. And the bin files have to last for a long time. Is the Sonicview 360 Premier or Elite good?

sv are great units but there is no clear path to deal with nag3 as far as what i read from most of the mfgs. the nfusion units are the only ones up on bev with nag3 using IKS. you may want to do some reading on that unit also.

Agreeing with HAZWIS, SV is a good choice, I have one (8000 HD), and my second (although useless during the N3, as most) choice is Viewsat (I have one of those too).

1.Sonicview, 2.Nfusion, 3.Kbox. You can not go wrong with any of them.

Sonicview, Nfusion and Kbox are currently working during this N3 crisis while other units aren't. These units are all IKS capable which means it connects to the internet to get the updates.

But I know Woodcreeker usually recommends waiting to see what transpires, before anyone should invest in a new receiver. I consider that good advice.

I think I would suggest Sonicview. In the mean time you can use the IHUB to get channels, there could be a long wait and when there is a N3 crack they will likely be the first or the second to have it. This way you can hedge your bet!
