Kbox
Hi all I am looking to add an stb. I had the Nfusion solaris and didn't really like it. I understand how it works and it was up on B3V and DN when I sold it.
The Kbox and hub do they work in the same manner? Is it up on DN or both? Also is it IKS and surviving ECM's Any feedback would be great. Thanks

Same idea and no body but nfusion has continued success with bev. You would be better off to wait for a while and see where the different manufactures end up after the change over is complete.

not to concerned about B3V. Just wondered how it was working with DN. And how it handles ECM's

captainK if you did not enjoy youre nfusion,then forget about a Kbox!!! I do like the Kbox tho,great on standalone! scans birds faster than any other box I have tested! Network is descent! kinda flies under the radar with workaround testing.

I have the Kbox and I love it. It has one of the best Standard Definition pictures out there....crystal clear...near HD quality.....and YES it has excellent support on the standalone side. The IKS side seems to be a work in progress and hopefully we will soon see both BV and DN working using the "Weather Forecaster".

how does it compare to the SV 360 Elite. I want to replace our CW700USB. I just hate that box for some reason. The Solaris Had a nice EPG. I can geta Kbox for around 115.00 CND or 180.00 with a Hub. Just wan't sure how the Hub was working.

Well I bought a K1 Heros Plus + Edition with the Internet Weather Forecaster (K-Hub) I set the box up. Wow this is the fastest scanning stb I have used. 715 TV channels in I would say just over 1 min. Great picture quailty on my 48" rear projection Sony. As good as the 360 Elite or better. Files were loaded by USB quite easily after reading Woodcreekers post in the Help section. I activated the K-Hub but have not tried it out yet.

I bought K box K 1 Pro. today.Somebody please tell me how to get it working.I had a CW 800 but most of the channels were missing.Thats why i bought K Box because it gives u all the international channels.As I have never used the K hub before i dont know how to hook this up.
I tried to get the channels in the same manner I did for CW 800.It scanned all the channels but not showing any picture.Do I need the k hub attached to the K box even for Standalone.Kindly help me out here.Thanks in advance. |
