CW 700 and 800 update ( Rumors for now )

It's posted in the Rumors section cause there is not much info on this.It looks weird to me but you never know.All I know is CW team is one of the best team out there,they always come thru....let's hope

I found a post about CW-800 & CW-700 a Possible FIX! But it isn't a forsure thing, and although I don't know much about this Stuff, I do have a Few photo's I attached below--->

Now I read this, that it is still in testing and isn't for sale yet, but It's a none IP-address upgrade, and is a N3 Fix, and it won't be for sale for a week or two.

No it's supposed to be Non-IKS.

Thanks beekermc, i was afraid it would be and i can not use a full time connection due to megabyte restrictions. Hope it works.

Do not shoot me after if nothing comes up.All I can say is CW is one of the best and I'm sure they will come up with a solution,let's hope it's really a Non IKS solution.

Hmmmm, I'm keeping hopes high, but seeing the screenshots kinda having me calling shennanigans on the whole rumor. It appears to be European / Middle Eastern ( Eutelsat / NileSat ) feeds, and there are dates showing on the screenshots of March 2009. It may be a European N3 crack, so it could at least be a start.

Also, the device in the picture looks a little like a 8PSK module.

It appears those sats ( Eutelsat, NileSat ) do not use any N3 encryption....Looks like a scam, folks............. but still keeping fingers crossed..lol

I've seen this elsewhere. It is Call Satellite Key Sharing(SKS for short). From what i've read it is supposed to get the keys from the sat itself. not too sure on the setup of it either. Rumor has it you'll need a big dish to get the keys for your stb. not to much specific info though......we'll see.....

I really hope that the coders come up with the Nagra 3 fix soon.. I really hope that we do not need a constant connection to the internet because I am here on dialup..We have no high speed available in our area.. Dial up sucks.. But there is nothing that we can do about it.

I would think that would depend on what models they write the bins for. the 9 pin connecter or rs port is on every box they make.

Well I guess what I read about Nag3 fix for CW being released today was a BIG RUMOR..

Looks like I will be calling Star Choice first thing in the morning.. Just cannot live without television.. This Nasa and Ion just don't cut it..

Still got fingers crossed for the CW Team.... Let's Go Team....
