Sonicview Dealerships Being Raided!

pls staff....move this thread were it belong

dealerships with large inventories of Sonicview receivers and iHubs in their possession and seizing the equipment, examining local computers for the presence of files, fta community memberships and more. Agents are asking what the legit purpose for the iHub is.

No arrests so far, but that may change depending on any evidence found. As of right now the iHub IKS system is still up and running however we have no assurance that it has or will be compromised.

Ech*star has initiated a lawsuit against Sonicview USA and has named ***** in its suit. ***** has deleted all posts coming into them on the subject which could be for several reasons.

This is not a joke or a rumour, it is a heads up for those who might need to know what is going on. When asked what the legal use for the ihub is any dealer should know the answer verbatim.

The Digital stores, (6 locations), all closed suddenly yesterday, and the nFusion server for B3V went black.

For those who don't know Ravin, (digital) is the Canadian distributor for nFusion and as also nFusion Canada.

There were also two other dealers "visited" yesterday in the Toronto area. Maxx Electronics and RTC Electronics. Again equipment was removed and the MAXX website now lists NO products available under the NEOsat, nFusion and Captain brands. These two dealers are affliated and their "raids" were for a different reason although MAXX was well known for selling nFusion clones.

This is NOT good news.

Also two well known forums have disappeared form the web in the last 24 hours one is completely gone and the other shows a white page with the message database maintenance in progress.

This information is NOW confirmed.

(31 Mar 2009) lawyers and Private Investigators working for B *L L Expr*ss conducted a "series" of raids, on the Digital Stores, (they are the Canadian Distributor/importer for nFusion).

The raid at the Newmarket store was observed by eyewitnesses last evening at approx 8:30 PM.

It was observed that documents, equipment, and other items were removed from the premises by the investigators.

nFusion has been VERY vocal about their "card sharing" work around of the NAG 3 system, and this no doubt led to these raids, and subsequent seizures.

Here is a question. Where are their servers along with Sonicview? That is if anyone knows! I sure hope they are in some 3rd world country that doesn't deal with the US.

I believe the ip traces back to the Netherlands.

That's up to you. But keep in mind they are probably focusing on the the big guys right now with this case. If they win they may be able to put a stop to SV IKS completely. Your call though.

I live in a third world country, there are no legal providers here for Sat TV. I can easily find new premises here for Sonicview and any others that require them. They will have a fta chance of prosecuting anyone here. The Americans have tried it with pirating here last year. I posted info about it on a thread but can't remember which one. Needless to say they were politely advised. The U.S. does NOT rule the world. We here, of all nationalities, including many Americans, enjoyed the great laugh. That is why IMO, fta will never cease.

It reminds me of years ago when the British Radio Stations tried to prosecute the radio pirates, that transmitted great stations. They merely packed up, moved into large vessels and went out to sea - and continued. Another great hoot!.
