I got information from not just dealer but distributor that....
..... Viewsat is in the process of warping up & closing it's business (filing bankruptcy).

Too bad for current owners, if you are looking for pure FTA, wait month or so... you will find dealers getting rid of VS FTA @ half the price like Neosat.

This is very much a confirmed news, Viewsat is delaying the news so they could sell as many as possible to get rid of their inventory w/o loss. Well that explains why no I*S ever came out. I will give it till christmas before they go public with this.

I am very confident about the source, anyway all non-belivers, wait till december & you will have to thank me for posting this

It's true the major importer of viewsat here in pr called me up and told me about it he's not b uying any more units he"s just selling the ones he has in the warehouse

Gobbledegook again.

1. No company, including Viewsat, would prewarn distributors/dealers, they were filing for bankruptcy. Doesnt make sense, VS wouldnt be able to sell any more units to those distributors to get rid of.

2. No company would announce it prehand to anyone as it would affect their share prices.

3. Cant see that any dealers have cut their prices on the VS units at all.

This is probably a competitor playing dirty. What a surprise.....

if viewsat or any other company is filing for bankruptcy the sure way to know is when you read it in public record. this rumor kind of makes sense when you consider all the rumors about them being the first to have a fix I.E. firesale

Think about it, if you were an owner of a company and you got popped for supposedly trying to buy an N3 hack. Would you continue to put your neck on the line to sell a few more boxes?

The money is there, but when you have DN and every Government agency watching your every move it would be wise for kwak to lay low. As far as them going out of business who knows? They can close VS and pop up as a new STB manufacture? and start a new brand with Dongle capabilities to gain revenue.

Think about it folks.....To risky!

If this was indeed a false posting, would it not benefit Viewsat to release info to the contrary? By not responding to the 'false' information, they would be hurting the sales of their units....IMHO there may be at least a little bit of truth to this.
I guess we'll find the truth when / if more information is released......
