FTA Grin Sonicview is Closing Down - NOT!!!

I wasn't sure whether to post this here or in the humour section, but it might make for an opportunity for us to have a good laugh and a chat. I read this elsewhere;

C&P
A friend who lives in Vancouver, said "Today i went to the retail store
in Vancouver Canada they usually sell Sonicview receivers and today they discontinued them.
They said that the company is in trouble and they don't want to sell this receiver anymore".
Now When the Ihub came out at many FTA Sites people where saying Sonicview has put this Ihub out because they needed a Fix to get ride of the Stock, before they closed there door.

Now Today and Yesterday there was No Service from Sonicview Ihub System.
It's been down as we all know.
This makes be believe The Rumor, that Sonicview has closed there doors and is locking up.
This is Do to the fact there isn't a stand alone N3 fix, {and may never be one. I hope not tho} and Sonicview knew this to be true when they came out with the Sonicview Ihub.

Sorry if my view sounds like I'm bashing Sonicview.
I just feal this to be true, sense for the past Week, Sonicview has been dropping Massive Bulks of channels nearly every few days, till just before this Now Near 2 day Outage.

and one reply from another op;

I don't think they closed up shop.. Since its the Manufacturers in hot water not the coding team.

Some good common sense in a responding post from Carpenter1, (who knows fta better than most)

Just another rumor, Sonicview is not in any trouble and they will be on top once again soon.
FTA will never die and they will come out with means to get it back on track, I have been doing this too long and have seen many changes in the past and will be around to see many more (God willing).

Don't ya just love a bit of gossip.

Re: Sonicview is Closing Down - NOT!!!

I heard that Microsoft is closing down becaue Windows Vista had some bugs. I wonder what other stupid rumors I could start to circulate! I can see LB had a good chuckle over this!
