Don't be. There was no reason to expect anything on 10-22; that's why it was in the rumor mill section. Even though the rumors may have originated from a "Reliable Source", they are almost always BS. Apparently, "Reliable Sources" are in no short supply these days.

Its time to do a little thinking on your own... Cracking an encryption algorithm isn't exactly like making meatballs, you don't just follow step 1 then step 2 and so on until complete... It takes much trial and error, which makes setting a date extremely difficult. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't personally believe ANY date unless the fix was 100% ready and they were waiting on something else (ie a new receiver, or other upcoming product launch).

I'm sure now that the date has passed that there will be another date set in another NEW rumor, based on another "reliable source." It will be up to you whether or not you believe the garbage being shoveled your way.

The only thing that we can do is check regularly to see if anything has been released and not put much weight into rumor mill posts. Like almost all the other MAJOR hang-ups that FTA has encountered; the fix will be released immediately after its ready and seemingly unexpected. All the great AAAFTA folks will make sure that its available to us when this happens; so I dont belive there is any need to scavenge other sites for something they missed. When its released, it'll be about as subtle as a nuclear explosion and it will be posted on all forums, so I'm personally not searching the nooks and crannies hopeful I'll stumble across it.

If you still believe in release dates, you might as well predict them yourself; they'll be just as accurate as all the other NAG3 dates we've seen.

You know there will be a release when you try to log onto AAAFTA and get a message such as:
Only premium members allowed at this time.
OR
Server overload........LOL
Believe NOTHING untill then.

I can't wait until the next BS rumor starts..... I suspect around Christmas time the next "reliable source" will be setting a date for a release.

Car 5469 I am afraid I have to agree with you. I guess in our case any kind of news/rumor is better than no news at all.
