Guys,

This is from a new apartment project they are making near me, the huge machine has been a nightmare, causing all sorts of noise, damage, to properties nearby, it was supposed to compound the earth so water wouldnt come back after heavy rains. Those of us affected were delighted to see that the ground was flooded after the last rains, even after all that noise/disruption to our lives. The project has been abandoned, so this guy in the video has found a better use for the dreaded machine.

I know Bobo, when I first saw it I thought he was walking to the beach with his surfboard and I kept thinking boy hes coming close to that crane, then I couldnt believe what he did.

Hell, I'll bring my own board for someting like that, that looks so FREAKIN FUN! I just wonder about the pressure put on his knees from the force.

OH HELL YEAH! I would love to try that! You have skydiving mixed with a g-force launch that is unimaginable. There is way more pressure than bungie jumping or skydiving. And that's always been my complaint with bungie jumping/skydiving, without force you can only fall at terminal velocity. Terminal velocity is mild compared to what that guy went through. I would be more intelligent though. Here's what I'd do different. You see when he went up he was a little late on his timimg. He was still setting up and if you look closely he only really had 1 foot on the board when he launched. I would have started running up a little sooner that way you have a couple more seconds to get ready. I'm sure this thing has made an impression where it's hitting, sure you'll get rocked a little but why not get about 5-10 foot away as it drops so you'll have plenty of extra time to get everything ready. If you think about it, if he was a second or two later he would have had one of those school yard incidents where the little kids get's his jaw clocked by the teter toder. Well..with the exception that this would rip his head off.

Ive watched it again and again and I can see he positionned his both feet in such a way as he had correct balance. Man if you cant see that and still want to try it, you better borrow my glasses before you do It still makes me shudder, knowing the Dominican operators of such machinery, they have no real training, they cant even drive normal cars well and I cant believe he would take the chance if a Dominican was operating it. Ive tried to see the operator but you cant make him out. I believe they must have set this up and had an experienced expat as operator.
