is there a sticky somewhere that explains rep power, activity, levels, site titles and how they all work?

Most of the items if not all are controlled by vBexperience. The rep levels are based on post counts, 1 point for so many post I believe, but mostly by the rep hits you are given. You have a rep power of 1 so if you give rep to someone you give them 1 rep point. Someone who has a rep power of 5 say gives 5 rep points to the person who they rep. I haven't got a clue how many rep points it takes to move up a level, it's pretty much up to vBexperience.

I think you also gain points when you give and receive a thanks, so always remember to use that thanks button. You also receive points for the number of threads you have started. Good luck.

here is a little more info:

You have two bars in your profile, an orange and a green one. The orange bar is your "Level" bar and displays your experience points. The higher your experience points the higher your level.

The green bar is your activity bar and displays your calculated activity in the last 21 days. Activity also lends to your points.

Here are the points values:

For each infraction point you will lose 100 vBexperience points.
For each positive reputation you will receive 100 points.
For each negative reputation you will lose 200 points.
For each day you are active you will receive 2 points.
For each members that joins a social group you create you will receive 3 points.
For each friend you have you will receive 1 point.
For each visitor message you have you will receive 0.2 points.
For each photo in your albums you will receive 2 points.
For each referral you will receive 200 points.
For each thread you create you will receive 4 points.
For each tag you create on a thread you will receive .1 points.
For each thread vote you will receive 1 point.
For each thread view you will receive .2 points.
For each thread you create that is stickied by a moderator you will receive 50 points.
For each Thank You you will receive 50 points.
For each post you put a Thank You on you will receive 5 points.

I think all that points stuff is irrelevant and childish. We should be here just to help each other out.

Receiving thank yous is nice, but I don't see that it needs to be counted.

It's sort of like a job I might have; give me any title you want, just pay me!!
