Re: Ihub status
my guess it's up or down... but since not many channels are up and only supporting one provider, still in beta since July nobody cares anymore and has moved on to a more reliable receiver. Just don't kid yourself, had a good friend tell me today that Nfusion has alot of freezing but nobody that owns one will admit it.
This hobby has alot to offer if you want to plant a bigger motorized dish in your yard with a circular/linear LNB and start testing all the birds out there. The sky's the limit. Join the true FTA Testers Club Today !! Only small test required...

Re: Ihub status
Nfusion doesn't have a dongle, there is a Ethernet plug built into the back of the unit. As for the the KHUB dongle it only works with the KBox just as the IHUB only works with Sonicview.

Re: Ihub status
The powerline adapter is something that is not needed to run a NFusion but it might be convenient to have. If your router isn't right be beside your NFusion or KBox or IHUB and you don't want to run cord through out your house. It allows you to use your powerlines in your house as the internet signal carrier. What you do is you plug one of the powerline adapters in near your router and plug your ethernet cable in to it and also the router. You then plug in the second powerline adapter in near the STB you are using and plug in the ethernet cable into your STB and then into the powerline adapter. It will just reduce the wires that are every where.

Re: Ihub status
Just a thought, if you are planning to get a NFusion or KBox I would also keep you Sonicview and IHUB. They might get it up and running properly sooner or later. I was watching my Sonicview last night and it was stable for quite sometime but not as stable as my KBox. But since servers do go down for maintenance it is nice to have a backup. And if Sonicview does get their act together their SV360 line of STBs are probably the nicest and most feature loaded on the the market. So I really do hope they get it together!

One more thing, I should have posted this. It is the working channel list for the IHUB.

Re: Ihub status
I want to make sure I get this right.
I see 3 major nfusion boxes pheonix, solaris and the Nova I'm guessing by the price that the Nova is true fta only But the solaris and pheonix will work with nothing extera? All I have to get is the solaris or the pheonix and I'm good to go? |

So I would purchase the Pheonix over the Solaris due to the fact that it is newer and would likely be supported longer. An extra $30 could mean another year or 2 of support by Nfusion. It also is supposed to be a better machine as it has a more powerful processor.
