FTA Thumbs Down OFFICIAL NAG 3 cutoff Dates
N3 official dates

The following dates have been announced by as official cutoff dates for channels to switch to N3. The dates are subject to change. However as of now they are as follows.....

1. International Channels ......... Immediately.

2. High Definition Channels ...... 4th March 2009

3. Premium Channels.............. 11th March 2009

4. All Other Channels.............. 8th April 2009

Fact: No manufacturer of a STB has come out with a bin that cracks Nag3 in North America,
so it looks like we will be chatting on here more often.

I do hope that this means that the coders will be able to crack Nag3 quickly after the change over. Be nice to get BEV again but i am assuming it will be awhile once they do switch before any codes will be available.

My guess would be that *IF* they even do it today it will be at 6pm like most other ECM's and then the fix will of course only bring back the non-premium channels..

However I really doubt it will happen on such a set schedule as far as dates go.... just from all the research I have done on it...........

I just turned on my TV and all channels were blacked out, I turned off, waited, and now its back.

It does say on my first post that the dates are subject to change, I was trying to find a thread I had started before that said they were having some problems supplying cards on certain receivers, so there would be a delay, but I cant find the thread.

This info on this thread is from the DN channel 999 and an official fta site that issues new files.

these dates were announced in november 2008. if you read a prior post of mine it clearly states then mid to end of Q3 if not Q4 2009. also Charlie admits to some other interesting items
