I really wish I could afford to donate. if any site deserves donations, then it would be this one by a long shot. Fast and friendly help.

But I do have a suggestion for reducing AAAFTA's bandwidth usage. Why not host the BIN files on the free file sharing hosters like Free File Hosting Made Simple - MediaFire and RapidShare: Easy Filehosting.

Personally I'v never seen forums that hosted their downloads before getting a satellite and visiting the various BIN forums.

I can appreciate the fact that we get great free support. I also understand the servers and bandwidth cost money, but isn't that why we have site sponsors? I'm not saying we all shouldn't contribute but I think this site maintained it's popularity because it was a truly free site!

Just a thought...Guess I'll be coughin' up some dough just like everyone else to ensure the site stays up...

Hi, I just join this site, so I reallly don't know anything about it. You asked to help with donating then talk about peparatiion for the N3. What N3? Everyone said that, know one even know's if it will even be a fix. I only join one forum in my life time right around the time of n1 -N2 I payed $50 being a newbee I made a big mistake and posted in the file section I somehow thought I was in the forum. Anyway I got 3 weeks in the read only club, then after 2 week came the new N2, but I wasn't able to download it. I email the Mod. to ask why he told me because I emailed him I get a month more in the reading club. so I told him look you got my money, so please let me download the new file. This time he told me last time now you get 3 months in reading club, I wrote him back told him how I felt. Ye got me throw off the site! Nice right? Why would he care, he got my $50,, so after that I never paided again. Maybe on day I will trust again, but for know I still carry that with me it's how I feel.... Thanks CP

Well couchpotato,I'm sorry to hear that. And it's really your choice to donate or not to. I think you'll find that people are really helpful and patient here and also that you don't need to donate to download files. For our VIPs we offer perks like VIP access during high traffic times (like a N3 file release for instance) and other goodies in the VIP section. Hey couchpotato I felt the same way you did until I came across this site. The first person I got help from was Woodcreeker. That was the first day on this site. The guy is awsome. CouchPotato, welcome to the best FTA site. We have rules here, too, but check us out everyday for a while, and you will probably see very few infractions and most of those are for spammers and people who continue to violate rules. Usually, a misplaced post is simply moved by a mod and you are told why it is moved and given a reminder of how things should be. As mentioned, donating is voluntary.
