What Telefonica/Amazonas is

A lot of members have been asking what this is and here is the answer with all the TF bins being released lately keep in mind this is not for dn... 1. Telefonica is a provider just like DN and BEV . 2. The satellite is aimed mostly at South America. 3. 61W, Amazonas is the satellite that carries the programming. 4. You need a linear LNB to receive this satellite. 5. If you are farther north than say Puerto Rico, more than likely you can't get the signal. 6. They are running on Nagravision 2 encryption at the moment. 7. Only a few receivers work with this satellite. 8. The programming is in Spanish and Portuguese. List of receivers that I know that work with telefonica are. 1. Captive Works. 2. Sonic View. 3. Viewsat 4. Coolsat 4,5,6k with a modified bin 5. Azbox 6. Sonysat 7. Pansat i am sure there are others but this is just a quick list feel free to add in thread thanks to Stile88 for the post
