NAG3/N3 - False Files Circulating - Beware!

They are advertising false NAG3 files for both Captiveworks and Viewsat. You have to register and pay and these files may damage your receiver.

I've been hearing that they do..havent tried them myself. I heard that the files are for Sonicview nly so far.

I"m in no hurry. I will just wait for AAAFTA. I figure that any file released by non-FTA sites is probably bogus. Even if they were to get it first, unlikely, we would know here shortly. No use wasting your money. AAAFTA will get whatever you need for a lot less.

I totally agree with you. Also, I've been checking other of my regular sites and there is nothing.

This warning does not apply to that, please read my post, it is very risky to advise others that you have heard they work. This warning came from a very learned man in fta, Wufman.

AAAFTA would not recommend using these files.

a fix wouldnt be on fileshunt.xom before it was released on an FTA site.

I'd venture to say that we'd all hear VERY SOON (within a day) if it did work.

My advice is... Dont be the guinea pig. Let someone else dish out cash and break their equipment. Its safe to assume that it doesnt work if its not posted all over hell and back by tomorrow.

Out of curiosity... if you don't recommend trying them...and wouldn't use them yourself, how could you possibly know if it was a legit file or not? Would it not be possible for some basement dweller to have been secretly working on this himself and cracked that sucker? And if the was the case... he could sell that code for tons of money to a website to distribute for.......loads of money..lol.

Hi Bear, believe me if NAG3 was cracked the whole FTA world would know about it and as this site is one of the best and usually releases the files PDQ, we would have them. There have been a few sites now that have been trying to scam people, this one is not the first.

Ok guys,

Just to see what this was, i paid and downloaded the file. Uploaded it to my box and it went black now it does not even turn on. thank god i have other boxes to use. I knew it was going to happen But I am very curious. Plus I have boxes coming out of my butt so its no big deal. But i want to make it clear now that i am confirming this to you. The only good thing these files are good for. Is to screw up ur boxes like it did for mine.

Hey Zombie, why don't you now try to hold the company responsible for destroying your box? This kind of action could go a long way for helping shut down small time garage dwellers that are more interested in your credit card # then getting you a fix.

But suppose I said I tried the file yesterday and it worked, just got a little freezing but it has been steady since 6:00 pm last night till now. I could even say that I am getting all channels except PPV.
Well..would you believe me or not? What would I have to gain or to lose?

Guess we are in not only a financial crisis but also a FTA crisis.
